Hello!
Beatrice (Bea) is a New York City–based Producer, Director, Writer, and Host drawn to stories that spark connection and illuminate the threads that link us across time, place, and experience. Her work spans investigative and historical documentaries, lifestyle content, and educational series—and she’s had the chance to partner with respected news outlets and mission-driven brands along the way.
She’s collaborated with clients including National Geographic, Disney+, Discovery, MAX, NBC, The Washington Post, Lowe’s, and Booz Allen Hamilton. She began my career at National Geographic, where she contributed to more than 100 documentary projects for global broadcast and digital platforms. Toward the end of her time there, she worked on The Hidden Kingdoms of China, a cinematic two-hour special narrated by Michelle Yeoh.
Currently, she works as a director and producer at Blue Chalk Media, where she leads branded storytelling for clients like Lowe’s, Fortune, Webull, and Xylem, and directs original documentaries and docu-series for PBS, MAX, Discovery, Magnolia, and Tastemade.
Regardless of format or client, her work is guided by a simple belief: that by grounding complex ideas in human stories, storytelling can transcend barriers, helping us understand, feel, and ultimately see ourselves in one another.
She holds a degree in Film from American University, with minors in Marketing and Creative Writing.
Bea spends her free time singing in an a cappella group she started (@hightnoesacappella), listening to a science podcast, and digging through NYC’s best thrift stores.
